Propeller Upgrade (PU)

A propeller upgrade (PU) is a hydrodynamic improvement to increase the propulsive efficiency of a vessel. Propeller upgrade technology uses the hydrodynamic and propulsion characteristics of a vessel to match the most efficient propeller to its vessel. This is done with the most advanced and modern tools available, therefore this method is very beneficial for older propellers. With a propeller upgrade, the propulsive efficiency can increase up to 15% and therefore will reduce fuel costs and emissions. An other benefit of a matched propeller is a reduction of pressure pulses and noises underwater.
